Introduction

MY BACKGROUND

I am a junior undergraduate at North Carolina Central University and a member of the 2021 cohort for Level the Playing Field. I have a strong passion for medicine, children, and health. In the future, I plan to attend PA school and work in pediatrics.

By using my skillset and professional background I have high hopes that I will reach my goals and obtain success in the medical field.

I am naturally empathetic to other' emotion and able to put myself in their shoes. I use this skill to mitigate conflicts within groups and be aware of everyone's emotions and challenges.

I believe that no problem can be solved without action. It's important to discuss issues, but that's only the first step. I tend to take action and learn by trial and error as I go along.

I have a way of looking at the big picture and seeing the world in an interconnected way. I create a plan with a clear direction which is helpful in difficult situations.

I work efficiently by planning and focusing on the most important things. Goals help me filter out what's important and what's not. It also allows me to track my progress towards my end goal.

I believe that everyone has the potential to grow. I like to help others experince success and do my best to help people reach their full potential.
